Good News and so-so news

I had my consultation appointment this afternoon and it went great.  I have everything completed I need to get completed and my insurance will "most likely" approve.  My file is all ready to send up to the doctor's office for my appointment with the surgeon and to schedule.  Whoo Hooo! The so-so news............... I have to wait until July 22nd for them to send my file up.  Why, you ask?  Well that is the 6 month  mark from my last cigarette.  The doctor's don't even want to see my file until i have reached the 6 month mark.  Ok.  Frustrating.  Makes me grumble and want to stomp my foot.  However, understandable and reasonable.  This puts my possible surgery date in the middle of August. Ok, I will reach in my bag of tricks and find some patience.  Darn it.

Oh Maureen............look at the bright side, anything  worth while is worth the wait!  You will be a great LOSER when it's your time!!! Congratulations on quitting smoking, I know it's hard.  It was the hardest, but the best thing I ever did for myself. Just don't ever look back!   you are going to be a healthier skinny, non-smoker, smelling good person!  lol  Jeni

I know.  I've done so good.  They require 6 full months, so I will wait 6 full months.  They have a reason and I will handle it.  I will be an awsome LOSER because I have my eye on the target and the support of all you guys here!

Congrats on getting everything done and ready to roll! And a BIG congrats on quitting smoking!!! I'm sure it can't be easy!  Just think of the extra time as more time for you to be prepared and ready to be the best LOSER ever!!! It will be here before you know it!  biggest hugs, Becky
