As some of you may know I've been having a very bad time with my oldest son.  Tough love is very difficult and he's always on my mind.  I've still managed to keep my eating under control and keep exercising at least 5 times a week. (that's not the WOW.........) A friend from Jr. High and High School has tickets to go see George Michael tomorrow night.  Now I'm not a huge fan, but after some encouraging from my husband, I've decided to go with her.  Up until now I've refused to buy any new clothes, telling my hubby when I reach 180 I'll buy some things, but the fact is all my tops are way too big.  I have jeans I'll wear that are baggy, but they'll do, so I agreed to get a new top from Walmart. I found and XL I liked and put in on over a T-shirt I had on and it fit; slid right over my hips with no problem.  The WOW for me was that it says it's size 16/18!!  Before my surgery I was wearing a very very tight 24.  I can't even tell you how good this felt.  I'm one happy camper

I'm so proud of her!  Things have been difficult, but she's keeping on. I should be able to start exercising full-on myself next week (I'm still recovering from a hernia repair and abdominoplasty on May 2nd).  I need it, just so I can keep up with my Munchkynn. :-) We're even going to get bikes and start riding.   And - I can't wait - we've both signed up for the Surf Cty Run on the 4th of July.  I'm not a runner, so I'm going to walk it, but she's been a runner in the past, and may leave me in the dust!! Yeah, I'm hubby that encouraged her to go to George Micheal concert with her friend.  Her VERY proud Hubby!
