Disneyworld, waterparks and moving

Every day I'm more and more thankful for this amazing surgery as I'm sure everyone on here is.  My husband and I are making plans to not only go to Disneyworld and Michigan next July (Michigan is a family reunion for his Mom's side of the family).  His boss and wife, who we both adore, btw, have graciously invited us to join them next year at their timeshare near WDW to have some fun week there.  I'd never consider this if I hadn't had this surgery.  I wouldn't be able to fit in an airline seat, I'll be down to at least 200 by then, and won't be nervous about fitting at that point,.  I'll be able to walk around there in shorts, and not die from the horrid heat/humidity.  Sweating 2  I wish we could go later, but c'est la vie....I'm also hoping to get to the local water park as soon as my new bathing suit arrives...ok, back to packing!  LOL  Kim

Hey Kim, WDW in July...all I can say is UGH!!!! We took our 3 kids there last June/July for two weeks (the only time the kids can go without missing school) and I can honestly say it was the absolute worse vacation I have ever had and such a BIG waste of ca****he weather is unbelievably horrible and we were all miserable. Alot of the folks that we would talk to while there said if you have not lived in that weather for very long...it just makes you sick. We basically stayed in our room during the day and went to the parks at night...but still just a sweaty mess...yuk! Okay...now that I have been a total buzz kill...I will end... If you like water parks...then that would be where I would stay most of the time! Hope I wasn't a total downer for you. I just have ahd alot of people ask me about our trip and experience...and I am honest.

BIG Hugs,
Lisa

Yech, I knew it would be hot and humid, but you paint an even worse picture...lol  I'll see if I can get him to change his mind and do it at a better time.  I was there in Sept once and it wasnt bad, even the majority of the tourists were gone...thanks for the info...and no, not a dreamkiller...better to know!  xo Kim

Big HugMuah!  Thanks Lori!  I'm even thinking I'd like to get a little boat I can paddle around Mission Bay...you got me thinking about that with the kayaking deal-io.  End of July, I'm SO there!  xo  Kim
