Good Sunday Morning Cali!

Hey, it's 6:15 am and I'm still here at work.  15 hrs straight and still chugging.  I'm tired tho and can't wait to snuggle into my bed.

Good Morning Janinie and Cali ,  i hope everyone is doing fine on this great sunday morning ,im just getting ready to go to work and start my day to help all the tourist here in the national park .ugh.. but love it . i stepped out my porch this morning to get some fresh air and i look up every day and see the lower yosemite falls and hear it. thats one thing i love about being here is just that,its peaceful. but at the same time i miss southern cali too. im not sure how the winters i wil do yet since i dont like alot of snow, acturally i cant say that i have never lived in it . so im sure it will be a new thing for me .  anyways gotta run . have a great day.  Oh yea ,im down a total from 3 weeks ago 19 and a half pounds. woo hoo... im on the road again . hee haw . Good morning Janine and Cali! Thankfully, today is going to be much cooler on the coast than it has been since Wednesday. Yesterday we went and got a fresh fruit smoothie, headed to a small yardsale and went down into pismo for the car show and to see the Budweiser Clydesdales. What magnificient animals! Sammi loves them so. We skipped about half the car show cause it was getting hot fast. It's been over 100 here right on the coast and hardly anyone has AC cause we never need it. After Sam got home from work, we turned the sprinklers on in the front and played in the water for a while then got into a cool bath. Called around to a few different restaraunts around town, looking for one with AC.  Sammi got up from her nap yesterday a complete cranky pants and would have loved to have passed her off on a grandparent but one was already busy and the other is still struggling with pnumonia so we dealt with it. This morning, so far, seems much better. We're going to see about going to IHOP for blueberry pancakes then our usual weekend errands this morning. Also thinking about taking Kandy down to the Ocean. Since I have to take her and Sammi by myself, I have to figure out the best place. Anyway, stay cool and stay hydrated Cali! Sue

It was 117 degrees in my neck of the desert yesterday. I was out ALL day running errands and drank mucho iced americanos, H2O, and G2.

Getting ready for my surgery, picked up a few items I'll need. Got the brows done as well as new highlights/trim to the hair. Also stopped in at my friend Brian's house. He's moving out of state. His plans for his outdoor kitty fell through and he wasn't sure bringing his cat to his new place was the best idea due to the wilds. The kitty refuses to live indoors and is acclimated to the desert. So, since I alread have two white kitties I offered to adopt his kitty (Angel). She's white (short-haired) w/blue eyes. I'm going to pick her up this morning!!! Yeah! I've been wanting an outdoor kitty! And when I went on my early morning walk yesterday, there was a sign. There was this sweet all white kitty resting next to my community's main entry sign and she meowed at me as I pet her. All white 'wild' kitties are very rare.

Other than that gonna pick up some protein bars at Costco. Hey all, they sell Power Crunch 2-paks for about $18!!! That's almost 1/2 price!!! I love these as well as Oh Yeah wafer bars. Need to organize some things around the home. Geesh, this week went by fast... less than two weeks before my July 4 surgery!!!

Good Morning Janine and The Cali Crew.. Size 9,  I am in awe, some day some day.  It was 103 here yesterday and then we got afternoon clouds and thunderstorms. We only had  few sprinkles though but I think a couple small fires from the low lightening.  Today is clear and gonna be hot.  Papa and Nathan are out playing, riding quads now before it gets too hot. We will just sit in the air conditioned house this afternoon, I just can't do heat anymore. Well everyone have a great day. Stay safe....

Good morning Janine and Cali, A size nine that is definitely a wow girlie.  Weigh to go.  Me and my lil one anre not doing well with the heat. It hit a record breaking 100 in the LB yesterday.  So we are going to hit the road in a bit so I can get fresh fruits and veggies for the week.  Then my nephew and his girlfriend are returning from a visit to his mom's and I have to pick them up from the air port.  I plan to be home and a shut in by 11am. Good Morning Janine and Cali, I lived in AZ for 10 years, and gained my senses and moved back here to Cali. LOL  but this past week I feel that I am back there.  This heat is killing me.  Being Obese and in Menopause is not a good combination. Just a quick note to Kim.  Please don't take this the wrong way, but there is a reason why  White outdoor kitties are rare.....They stand out like a sore thumb for predators.  They don't cammoflauge well in there surroundings.  I don't know where you live, but if there are any coyotes etc, maybe you can reconsider making the kitty an indoor pet.  Thats why there are no White tigers in the wild.  Only in zoos.  Hopefully things will start to cool off a bit.  It was so hot and humid here yesterday. YUCK I went and bought another window A/C for my daughters bedroom.  Her room was 93 degrees before the A/C. I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend.  Stay cool and drink lots of water. Good morning! It is so hot here in Long Beach, that I can't IMAGINE being in the desert on days like these... AC and pools for sure are a blessing!

Dave and I have lots of plans today and this week... BBQ at a beach baptism today...open house at his work...Catalina on Tuesday... fun fun fun...

The dogs are lying low...trying to stay cool... Rosie was so sick last weekend, that I made plans with an in-home euthanasia group... then, she bounced back to her normal old-lady self... amazing!! It's not her time yet!

Dude down the street whose dog attacked Amber is...ready for this?...suing ME!! Why? because of the bite on his hand from one of the dogs in the melee... (he says it was Rosie, and it could have been...I didn't see it happen). Guess who he hired? Larry H. Parker.... oh my gosh... So..my homeowner's insurance company has gone into action defending me .... homeowner's and/or renters insurance helps in ways I didn't even know about.

Visited Dad and Mom yesterday...Dad is very fatigued all the time now... two weeks post-radiation treatments.... sees the doc again tomorrow... but, he's hanging in there... I'm very proud of him!

Good Morning All!...well almost noon! Boy is it hot! I am not liking it at all...ugh! We were suppose to have my son's birthday yesterday but he woke up yesterday morning with a fever,sore throat and feeling like yuk! So we had to cancel. He was bummed, but we will do it another weekend.  Some friends of ours took me and my hubby out to dinner last night for an early bithday celebration for me and we had a blast. We went to the Melting Pot and let me tell ya...it is a fun place to go with a group. I had a little too much wine...but of course after about 30 minutes I felt like I had not had any...lol! Today I am gonna float in the pool with the kids and a few of their friends...our house is the "cool" place over the summer cause we have a pool. I just a need a cabana boy to serve me some cool drinks while I float... Janine: You go girlfriend...a size 9...wow! Thats probaly more like a 7 cause you were at walmart and their stuff is sometimes small...especially LEI's...so rock it girl!!!!! Hope to see you soon! Have a good day all!!!

Good Morning Janine and Calif Friends!!! Janine, how awesome!  Size 9!!!  I can only dream right now!!!  I hope you are feeling better today.  That must have felt awful. I did take my letter of appeal over to the surgeon's office with all of my documentation on Friday after work. I asked that they look it over and please tell me if I am missing anything, need to change anything, add or whatever to please, please let me know. I do not want to be denied again!  So I guess I am in the "holding" pattern, waiting to hear anything! So please send me your prayers, good joo-joos, vibes, a magic fairy dusting, whatever you may have, my way!!!   I'm just hanging out at the house while DH is out golfing.  I watched the Bucket List and am doing some laundry...trying to stay cool.  It's not going to get as hot today.
