Hi! I just started coming to this forum....I don't know how I missed it. A big DUHHH for me. I usually go to the main forum or RNY and sometimes the R&R.....but some how I slept on this cool one. So hello to all you lovely Californians and I hope you are all having a great Sunday!

Hey Kier and welcome to the CA board! We're a pretty groovy group if I do say so...lol And I was born in LB 51 yrs ago at what was then Seaside Hospital, and I think it's now LB Memorial? The story was told that I was almost born on the traffic circle as it was Feb and foggy and Dad couldn't find his way up the hill...LOL Many cousins lived there and one still lives in Seal Beach, close to the beach. Anyhow, welcome to the board and please come and visit more often! Kim

Welcome to the Cali forum darlin. We have a great bunch of Cali folks here and plan events...like the LB coffee that's coming up this Saturday. Hope to see you around these parts more often.

Hi Kier and welcome to the cali board.....this is the best bunch of people I have ever met.....
I don't know what part of LB you live in but you should join us on the last Saturday of each month for LB Coffee....which is this coming sat. We meet at the Starbucks on Bellflower Blvd and Spring street in the Kmart/Lowes center. We meet at 10am and are usually there about 2 hrs. Lots of great people. Some that are years post op and some pre ops and some in the middle all in all a fabulous group. I will post more about coffee later in the week.
I was born and raised in LB so I am a real local (although now live in Seal Beach.
Just wanted to welcome you here and say hope we get to meet soon.

Hi Jean Thanks for the warm welcome and the invite for Saturday. I'm going to try and make it. My Nephew's Birthday party is that day too....not sure what time...hopefully I can do both. Lori has invited me before to join the group and well I just haven't made it there yet. But I definitely want to. Thanks again and I look forward to meeting you all.
