In your neck of the woods?

How hot is it  and what the heck are you paying for a gallon of gas? Here in North Hollywood CA it is 4.63 a gallon and the temperature is an amazing 96 degrees!!! Yesterday was 104 and tomorrow is going to be 101! Calgon take me away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Brenda

Hi Brenda I'm on the Central Coast (Pismo Beach) and it's 102. We're paying between 4.59 - 4.74 a gallon for gas! UGH! Sue

Is about the same gas prices here!  were6 degrees cooler though

I am about 35 miles east of Sac and I just paid 4.49 a gallon for gas this morning and the temp was 96. 

It popped 119 degrees when I was out earlier and that was not even at our hottest time of the day. YIKES!!!! Gas....well too bad we could not bottle our farts and use them as energy....bet we could get people into running and not to the pumps!! Get some who is eating carbs and sugar alcohols and they can pump 'em out.....Nadine where are you....you could help the energy crisis!!!       maybe that is why they trains sound like they are tooting down the railroad tracks....toot toot       okay on a serious note...I am paying nearly $5 a gallon for high grade for my mercedes....cost me nearly $50 to fill it and I had a 1/4 of a tank....my Jeep...hell that thing is close to $90 to fill.Glad I do not have to do so much driving in the summer with school out!!! Never in my years did I think this would happen. I told my students that when I started driving it was 16 cents a gallon and when I started smoking (quit a long time ago) that they were 20 cents and a quarter out of a machine. Showing my age eh?

I'm in Fontana and it hit about 105 here today and the cheapest gas I've seen is Arco at 4.49/gla for regular. Jeezzzzzzzzz!!!

It was 98 here today and gas is $4.46 a gallon. It's crazy.  Lauren

Well, It is so hot here I think that we got up to 104 yesterday here in Palmdale.  Well, gas I wi**** was only 1.04 a gallon as our temps were but alas it is not.  I was going to ride my bike the 13miles to work today but wanted to look cute. I do not mind riding in the heat.  I stay very well hydrated too.but I chose cuteness over conservation. Liz
