Heat and Water
Heat kids......I am writing in red to stress the importance of drinking your water especially at this time of year!!!
Look at Miss Katt who fell and broke her ankle this past week. Katt got herself on the dehydrated side and was getting dizzy. Dehydration is super serious!!
I know most of you do not hit the high temps we are getting in the desert right now, but nevertheless you can still become dehydrated.
Today it is expected to be another 118 degrees here. I travel with water in my car at all times and usually have something else to drink too. Yesterday when I was out, I experienced intestinal cramping....I believe that it was due to not enough water while I was out.
Don't be complacent about hydration.....and don't think that it won't happen to you. All you newbies who cannot chug the fluid.....just keep sipping....even if you have to do it for what seems like non stop....Katt will tell you that it beats having a broken ankle and it beats having to go to the hospital like some have had to do for dehydration and be hooked up to the IV...now that sounds like a fun afternoon eh? NOT!!!
DRINK...SIP....DRINK...SIP....DRINK....SIP...DRINK!!!!!
Have a great day and try to stay physically cool....
