Today I am 11 months post-op.  I didn’t have time this morning to take my usual pictures in my shorts & t-shirt, but I did take a quick one before I left for work.  Ok, to be perfectly honest I thought I would have made more progress by now. When I look at my body I see a change but not a dramatic change.

HOWEVER, when I look at my face…. Oh. My. God!!!   I can’t believe I walked around looking like that!  You can barely see me underneath the fat!!

My personal trainer started taking my measurements when I started wroking with him at exactly 2 months post-op, here are my measurements.

My advice to pre-ops: document your progress!!!! sometimes it will be hard for you to see/believe that you really are transforming!!

Monica...you know, everyone's body seems to re-shape itself in its own time and in its own way... don't know why you are losing more slowly than others, but, when you look at your BMI number...WOW.... what an amazing change. Your health must be improving leaps and bounds...

You are right about your face, too.... look at the way you can see your features...your eyes...and hey, your COLLARBONES!!

Don't be discouraged.... just love your body through its transformation...

you are doing great....

love you bunches...

Thanks angel! I don't know what I would have done without you!!  Now I know what people mean when they say "I can see YOU!"

I figure I lost 2-3 months of weight loss when my thyroid went wacky. I had to wait almost a month for the meds to kick in and the weight loss to start up.  I hovered at 230 lbs. for a lifetime it seems!

Doing great!!  Remember muscle weighs more that fat.  With all your exercising I'm sure you are gaining alot of muscle.  Give it time...work the tool...salad and chicken are your friends.  Brian

Ha!!  Thanks! I left the chicken at home again today, I'll find something else to have for lunch.

I am most definitly stronger than I was, I can feel my muscles underneath my flab...mostly in my arms.  I can't wait til I'm ready for plastics so that everyone can see them. :)

I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty,
believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.

Monica-You look absolutely great!!!  You should be so proud of the difference in you and you can tell it in your face.  It sure makes clothes shopping a lot more easier and I don't know about you but I went out and also bought new make-up in colors that I never thought I would wear in my life.   Keep up the good work, my one year is coming up.  I am not going to post any more pics till then and then compare with the other pics that I have been posting.  Have a fabulous day Sharon

I think your a very beautiful girl and your process is going the way it is for your body to adapt to.  Your doing everything right so just keep truckin girl! Congrats on such success!! Hugs Brenda
