I know the heart attack feeling and the being in the er for 6 hours!@##$$$ Anyway a lot of people that lose weight rather quickly get gall bladder problems. The deal is this.........if you have a big attack that is horrible, they will not be able to lazer it out but will have to cut you open to go in there. Best bet is to get an appointment and be really careful with food till it gets out. I could not eat any spicey thing, anything with fat, creams etc. I even had a bad attack eating cup of noodles!!! I hope they told you each attack gets stronger and stronger.
I am not trying to scare you, just being up front to allow you a choice!! Good luck!~Ann~

Hey Kev,
I saw your question and knew I had to re-register. I forgot my UN and PW eons ago. Anyway, I went to the ER 3 freakin' times and they gave me the song and dance of "nope- no problem- we don't see anything on the ultrasound". The pain was astonishing. Anyway, I finally decided to go to the ER at John Muir and ask to see Dr. Otero. He said it was my gall bladder and he took it out that night. Not a problem since! He's da man. I had mine out a year after WLS. You're going to have to have it taken out unless you enjoy pain.
Only 5 more holes in your tummy.
