HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE HAD GALL BLADDER ISSUES SINCE WEIGHT LOSS SURGERY....AND WAS IT DUE TO SURGERY OR JUST BY CHANCE YOUR GALL BLADDER DECIDED TO ACT UP???...THANKS FOR YOUR HELP
i remember you
had mine taken out a year after WLS even though i was taking meds to prevent this from happending i was taking Actagul (sp?) ,, so i do know if you dont get it done soon if it starts bothering you or hurting you dont wait like i did i will never forget the pain i was in worse then labor,, *Christine*

Hey Kev....great to see you!!!! I did not have a gb issue because mine was taken out when I was 20...go figure...I had an old ladies fat disease at 20 and was not even that fat by then. I started getting stones when I was 16 and I did not eat a high fat content diet either because I would always get sick from it....doc said some of it is hereditary....I also get kidney stones!
Hey I am going to be in the bay are sometime in the next month or two...would love to see some of the old gang!

Yeah, mine was fine too, but I'm sure glad they took it with the WLS. I'd hate to be in that kind of pain for anything but labor! (And even that is questionable, I'd prefer that without pain thank you very much...lol, but I digress.) Feel better soon! For now you might try the BRAT diet until you have surgery.

OMG!! Get that puppy pulled outta there! I had an attack several years ago (way before WLS) and they told me that I could have it taken out or I could leave it in and wait until I had antoher attack or more and decide then because I was young and I may not have another attack. I had them pull it right then and there. Went from the ER to the operating table. I can still remember how bad those attacks hurt. Get it out as soon as you can.
Great seeing a familiar face from "our" time. Hope things other than your gall bladder are doing well!! My oldest kid just turned 18 and graduated! I cannot believe how old that makes me!!
