POTW...passing the crown

Sorry for the delay folks but it was my off day and well I don't do the internet much on my off days. So as I was thinking WHOM shall I make the next POTW I was just closely paying attention to all the goings on here on the board and I must say the Cali board HAS IT GOING ON!! I just want to give us ALL a great big round of applause

The support here on a state board just blows me away!! Whether we need prayers or scolding or support, it's just amazes me so truly in our own special ways we are ALL Persons of the Week!! Now this young lady I have had the pleasure of meeting and seeing blossom at least once a month and of course I have seen her avatar change and her inner beauty just shines through. She isn't just losing weight she's renewing her spirit and it's just great to see. This special lady even stepped WAY out the box and did something this past weekend that she was scared to do...and yet with all us rallying behind her she did it! Without further ado...I give this this weeks POTW

OMG - I just got home from my day spent with my sisters - taking the harbor cruise in LB and throwing flowers into the ocean in honor of our mom and dad - them stopping after at Bubba Gumps for a little libation - I ordered a glass of wine that tasted like crap - word to the wise - don't ever order the house chardonney at Bubba Gumps - its terrible. Anyway - I am so so so honored and flattered that you chose me Ms SHell..... That people say I inspire them just blows my mind. I can't even tell you. I just feel so honored I want to cry right now . I will wear my crown proudly - thats for sure. And you can GUARANTEE I will be kayaking again...FOR SURE. To any of you pre ops that think you can't do this or newbies having a hard time....take the time to read my profile if you want - look at my pictures - ask me questions, whatever you want. I never EVER thought I would be able to take this weight off.....I do know that taking it off is the "easy" part but keeping it off is the life struggle. I can truly say that this time I feel so different....I really feel like my life has changed, I have been given a second chance, and just feel in my gut that this is the time for me to lose weight and keep it off. I am so blessed to have met so many awesome people here on OH and to have made so many new friends. Thank you all so much. You are the BEST.....
