My Wow Moment

and I went shopping at Mervyns today. We thought we'd check for pants for me, since my pants are too big, and we will be going on vacation in two weeks. I was a 28 before in pants. I actually bought two pairs of jeans (blue and black) in size 22! 
Okay, they were Gloria Vanderbilt's stretch jeans, but it still counts! They are quite snug, but that way they should still fit when we go to Nashville! I also got a pair of jean capri pants (non-stretch) in Size 24. 
It has been a lotta years since I was a size 24, let alone a 22. In fact, I think I skipped 22 and went straight from 20 to 24! So this is huge for me... Oh, speaking of huge, I was talking to some friends yesterday that I hadn't seen in years,
and the one woman recounted that her grandmother disliked the expression "losing" weight. Her take on it was that normally if you lose something, you try to find it again, and she didn't want to find that weight. She called the process "defrosting" instead!
