Good Sunday Morning everyone!

A special Happy Father's day   to all of those wonderful dads out here in OHland and to those women who are pitch hitting as both parents for many various reasons! As I always told my boys...anyone can be a father, but it takes a lot of love, patience, committment, and hard work to be a dad! My father was a dad and so is Jeff to my son's. Also my boys are very much dad's to their children and it really gives me a lot of pleasure to see them inner act with their babies. Jeff was a great roll model for them in so many ways...but this one being a dad will always be one of Jeff's greatest accomplishments!

So given that...what are you all going to do today with your dad? I know some of us have lost our dads and we miss them terribly....but for me....I have my dad sitting right here in a frame next to my computer....I look over at him all the time and say hi to him....smile a lot at the picture and remember all the fun times we had together.....I loved him very much.

Have a great day everyone and remember to drink tha****er.....it was a whopping 110 out here yesterday and it is going to be even hotter today!!!!

 Good Morning Janine and Cali Crew!  Hope you are enjoying your weekend and doing things you want to do, not just the chores you need to do! It has been beautiful here in the foothills of the San Bernardino mountains though a little warm which I actually like these days post WLS! As it is Fathers Day and I'm sending greetings for a very nice day to all the Dads here and those that love them. Like you Janine I too lost my dad as he passed 15 years ago and I miss celebrating this day with him but keep him close to my heart on Fathers Day and every day. Never forget to tell those you love and/or care about how you feel and that you are blessed to have them in your life as they will be gone one day. Well, with that sobering thought let's see what all y'all have planned for the day? D and I will be puttering around the house and garden (gardening... my favorite!) today along with some errands.  What about you?  Spill the beans! Good morning Janine and Cali and yes, happy Dad's day to all who wear the title. This morning we are puttering around the house. Sammi is in a mood and it's going to be a long day! I think the pancake breakfast is getting cancelled.  Sam is working today but should be home fairly early. After nap, we are heading to my mom's for a big family dinner to include my grandpa, aunt and uncle, Sam's dad and step mom and of course us 3. It should be a nice time. We are blessed to all live within a few miles of each other. I can say, since Sam and I have been married, his dad has been more of a dad to me than my own. When I was growing up I was definately a daddy's girl and we were very close. Now, he lives about 8 hours away and my step mom's family is more of a family for him than his own. It makes me sad sometimes but I do still love him. I also know part of the trouble is the distance. I am truly blessed to have the family that I do. Hope everyone enjoys the day. Sue

Good Morning Janine and Cali, I enjoyed a great day with my dad yesterday.  He is going back to Denver today but since i will have the summer off he can return a lot.  Today we will just hang out and I will cook for him before taking him to the airport. Happy Daddy's day to all the dads Monica

Good Morning crew!

Not much on the agenda for me today, my Dad lives in WA so I will call him, but I won't get to see him. Other than that, just going to putter around...maybe take the dogs to the dog park if they are behaving enough to get them into the car! (they have been in a MOOD lately!)

I am off to get my morning started, I need to get a protein shake into my body, I have slacked the last few days and been slightly short on my protein and boy do I feel it!

Happy Father's Day- I have already done my 2 miles this morning, picked up the paper and bought donuts for everyone.  Everyone is still asleep here so I have the morning to myself.   Good news though, Stefanie got hte job at the hotel working graveyard she will start today.  I have to show my husband how to use the computer so that he can look for jobs on line, I am finding that a lot of places don't advertise in the paper anymore so he will need some training on this.  He doesn't know computers at all.  Going to do laundry, go see the in laws and my adopted dad today.  Getting ready to call my dad back in Mississippi.  Have a great day,  Sharon

Good Morning All!  Happy Father's day.  My hubbby Joe and I have his little one this weekend.  Jayden is 5 and we enjoy him so much!  He's my "do-over" as my kids are all grown and gone.  Jayden and I made a wonderful crafty card for his dad yesterday and we are patiently waiting for daddy to wake up.  We are going to go see a movie today either Kung Fu Panda or the new Narnia movie.  Later this afternoon we will head back up the hill to meet up with Jayden's mom and spend some time splashing in the river before sending him home.  We soon start week on, week off for the summer and he starts K-garden in August!  Today is also my Birthday!   so that means I get to pick the movie.  Off and running kids.  Shower to take and a few dogs to walk before it gets too hot.

Good Morning Janine and everyone!

Happy Father's Day to the dad's out there! It's a nice morning here in Yuba City. My husband and I are just lazing around, getting ready to watch the race. One of our girls is in Germany and the other one is at her dad's house about an hour away. Before the oldest left for Germany, the girls celebrated Father's Day with lots of love.
