I fell yesterday... Pre-op ~?????

Good Morning Everyone!
I'm a pre-op patient... I'm just need my ultrasound (tomorrow) and my pre-op class (Tuesday).

So... yesterday I went grocery shopping at Ralphs. As I was getting closer to my cart, I slipped and couldn't control myself and I fell on my right side butt and I just felt all of me just slamming down. I'm hurting!!!!

Would this have been worse if I have had my surgery?

Well, if you mean immediately post-op, yes, you could have hurt yourself internally... but, of course, you wouldn't be out shopping by yourself immediately post-op, either (I would hope!!)... LOL...

I think you won't be so prone to falling after you lose weight, as your balance will be better. W/o my big ass sticking out I find I stay upright much better!! hee hee.....

I was just very curious to know that. I go home and took a hot shower and took some Tynenol. I feel okay... it just hurts.

On your preop visit be sure that you mention it to your doc  too.  This is to make sure there is not other underlying injuries. Liz
