Interesting Wow moment
Hi kids...ok, so I had an interesting Wow moment today.
I'm a team captain for the Heart Walk in San Diego in Sept. I've actually done it for the last 4 years, but this will be the first year that I'll actually enjoy it...lol We were all invited today to a kick off lunch given by the American Heart Association. It was held at a nearby business in their auditorium. I looked at the rather narrow seats and that OLD pang of fear hit me. "I'm not gonna fit in that seat or if I do, I'll end up with brusies on my legs from cramming myself into it!!" And the other voice in my head said, "Don't forget you weight 114#s less now!" I fit with no problem. I shared my Wow moment with the other team captains and they were all very excited for me. If anyone lives in the area and would like to be part of this, let me know and I can send you the link to my team page! I'd love it! I remember about this time last year as I began my journey and I'd read stories like this and they gave me such hope. So, that's my prayer, that I will be an encouragement to someone. xo Kim
That is a GREAT wow moment sweetie!!! I love these kind of moments and they happen all the time!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!
Hey are you going to the Scripps Padre game? I am, my friend Dawn, that works at the RB clinic got me tickets for me and my girls. I've never gone before, but it sounds like fun!!!
I might want to join you on this walk in Sept. depending on when my hernia repair is. It is looking like it will be end of July or maybe August at this point, but don't know for sure! Send me the link!
I didn't know you were moving, where to? Are you excited?
