I'm so glad I decided to "lurk" and caught your post...

I'm a huge Hood Carb Countdown fan. And, like you, it's been a staple in my 4-year journey. It makes the best protein shakes.

I have been getting it at Albertson's - but, they've been out of it for the past month. I haven't inquired if they're going to continue to carry it.

However, I do know of a place in Tustin where you can get it. It's called Miss Bobbies Low Carb Shop in Tustin. Here's the link to their website.

Call her ahead of time and see if she has any in stock. If not, she may be able to order it for you. When I can't find it at Albertson's - I take a road trip to Miss Bobbies. Her shop also has a lot of other great low carb items.

Hi Patty,  This is great news.  I used to get mine at my local Albertson's last year.   I see your from the OC as well.  What Albertson's were you getting yours from.  Maybe if more people request it at one particular store they will put it back on the shelves. I haven't done milk since my surgery, but I found Unsweetened Vanilla Soy Milk it's 1 cup 100 calories, 4.5 fat, 5 carbs, 9 protein.  I've found it at a few stores and even occassionally at my 99c store.  I'll have to try the one you suggested as well...good luck in finding it. Ms Shell

UPDATE ON STATERS BROS.  They had 2 half gallones marked down to 1.50 each, I bought them both adn asked when they were getting more as there were no more on the shef. She said those are the last two, we quit carrying it. So back to square one adn mark Staters Bros off the lsit. You may find a 1/2 gallon or two at a good price if you hurry.

Yep,  Thats what I've been told from Stater Bros also.  I was able to buy the last one on the shelf.  I might have to try the unsweetened soy  Thanks All
