Hey Lori Well I think I am going to try it out.....still a little scared - I am just worried that I won't be able to row  and get myself back to shore - or get away from shore for that matter..... But everyone I tell about this tells me to go for it and try it... So, I will head down there tomorrow around 9:30 and see you there.....if something happens (ie babysitting for my great nieces) I will post in the morning...but as it stands right now, I am in.....    

GREAT, Jean!! it will be fun... I won't let anything happen to you... I'm not a kayaker, but I am a great swimmer, and I know that area realy well...also... it's a real small, contained area...you will be safe... I think you will have fun, too!

Hi Celest - well, I am going to give it a try - I amnervous and excited at the same time.....but, I will never know if I can do it if I don't try - you are right. I will  post when I get home..... Thanks for the encouragement.

I so wish I could join you tomorrow morning.  I absolutely love kayaking!  My first time was in the frigid waters in Alaska.  Today was the last day of school for me.  YEAH!   Ten weeks of vacation with NO pay. However - I am chaperoning grad night tonight with Nadine and won't get home until after 7AM tomorrow morning.  I would probably fall asleep in the kayak!!!!  Hopefully next time. JudyAnne

Have fun tonight, JudyAnne!!  Our kids went last night and had a blast...only two kids were left behind (turns out they had snuck out to Denny's...how did they get, out, I cannot imagine!! DLand is soooo strict on Grad nights!!)....anyway...i'm off, now, too, same deal...10 weeks..no pay..BUT... lots of fun ahead!!

We'll kayak again! I hope to do it once a week....

I wanna go!! I've done lake kayaking up north in a double kayak with the man. It was perfect, he rowed when I got tired But, I have my 9th Kaiser Options class at 10 in Riverside... I'm so sad!
