I have pretty much gotten over my cold, but my sinuses are still draining. I blew my nose yesterday and temporarily lost hearing in my right ear and the room was spinning. And I mean spinning. Thank God I was sitting down at the time. It last a few minutes then stopped for about 2 seconds and started spinning the opposite way. Then last night, after reading in bed I got up to turn the light off and I got really dizzy and wound up on the floor. I'm, okay now, but I think I bruised my tailbone. I know I scare the crap out of Matthew. I think I am a little dehydrated. It's so hard to get all tha****er in. But I am monitoring my water intake closely today. Hopefully it helps.

Sorry you are going through this.  I think it may have happened because of dehydration.  When I was newly out, I made sure I always had a bottle of water in my hand! JudyAnne

Last Christmas, I fainted and fractured my collarbone.
I added protein and more water and the dizzy spells went away. No more dizzy spells, TTL.

Be careful hun!

So sorry to hear about that, Katt! Dehydration is nothing to take lightly...or lying down! (LOL...sorry for a bad joke!)... glad you weren't "down" for long and that you're doing better....

God bless you and your poor tailbone!

Okay the whole sinus drainage thingy  I'm going thru it right now, but I don't have allergies.  Igot a nasty sinus cold.  I was so miserable last night that the boyfriend came over and I don't even remember him being there.  I am so miserable right now and I have to get ready for my daughters high school graduation at 7pm and deal with my *****ass sister.  I call her Evilene  Katt  take care and be careful.  I know how hard it is to get all the damn h20 down girl.  I was always bad at it. Sill am. tJust keep sipping.  Change it up.  Don't just drink plain water.  There is sugar free lemonade, Crystal Light etc...  Mixing it up makes you feel like you're normal

Hi hope you're feeing better. Just on a side note, I had a sinus infection. a couple of days after feeling better, I started getting really dizzy then after a few days, I was literally falling over. My sinus infection turned into a major infection in both of my ears, with no other symptoms.  Always good to see the doc when out of the ordinary things happen...an ounce of prevention and all.

Katt I am sorry honey.  Yes please watch the water.  It is really easy to dehydrate especially this early out.  Take it easy girl.  Oh why did you have to turn out the light?  Next time maybe Matthew should do it LOL

Well ouch!  Be careful.  I have dealth with this sinus cold thing for almost 5 weeks.  Working isn't helping and I have spent the last 4 weekends in bed.  I finally called the doctor last Friday and he gave me some antibotics which are helping.  I still don't feel good, but it is certainly alot better than I have been. Be careful, up the protein and I know how hard it is to drink and get everything in so soon after surgery.  Just have bottles all over the house so no matter where you are sip.  I got in the habit of sipping even in the middle of the night when I wake. Take care, Diane
