my run

Since it was great morning, I gave up and went for my run. I ran 2.3 miles in 31:52:59. The place that I like to run is called the riverwalk. Its nice place to run with lots of small inclines, that are slow and yet long. It felt great! At one point I looked down at my garmen and I was moving right along at 9,4 pace. Guess who jumped into my mind?? Coach Scott. saying start slow, finish start. LOL Thanks Coach. The air was cool and crisp. Great to be living life.

Part of the path runs along a man made little river/stream thing. There where tons of babies ducks out there all so cute. That side of the path has lots of trees and shade. YAY. The other side has lots of new building put up, so most of the sidewalk is closed, and you have to run on the street, passing all the men out there working. Let me tell you, after passing them I felt even better. Not one rude remarks or anything. Mostly cat calles and whitles. Dang!! I smiled and at one point, I even stopped and took a bow. OK OK yeah that was bad, but dang it was fun.

OT: There is a humming bird chasing my turtle in the back yard. LOL Way to funny to watch.

OK you all have a wonderful day. Remember to shake it, smile and enjoy life.

Hi Lu, Glad you had a great run.   I could not sleep, so got up to run also.  In 31 mins, I ran 2 miles.  If you keep up your momentum, I see no problems for the LB Half. Kim

Lu, Yes, you are right.  If someone had of told me 3 years ago that I would be running and entering races, I would have they were crazy.  WLS has opened doors for me that I never knew existed. Kim

Your run sounds so much more intertesting than mine.  I see lots of people, but not much of nature other than the ocean.

At the Corona Del Mar 5k I saw girls  in running skorts.  So I went to Marshalls and bought one for about 13 bucks, it's so cute and I like looking all girly when I'm outside.  I may not enjoy nature but I got a cute outfit! :)

I might see you at the Long Beach half, I'm thinking about doing it.

Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."

Good Morning Gene....

I will have to keep watching and see if I can do that and then see how much money I can win? LOL

I love running there and I have no worries about running late. Its a very busy area. Lots of people. Some friendly, some not so friendly, or not willing to say hi, when I speak to them. SNOTTS! The remember  me of the biker rider Lynnie and I came accross one time riding. We both side good morning to him I think he might have barked at us. Lynnie said something like "Nice" or something. Gosh I miss running with Lynnie. I hope she is thinking hard about doing Long Beach with me.

Love you dude.
