Can we take Benedryl?

Hi all, I am one week out from gastric bypass, may we take Benedryl for allergies (this wind is killing me)? I think we can. They gave it to my room mate in the hosp. but she had the band put on, not 'Rny". Thanks, Kim

Yes, but only liquid for right now, later you can take in pill form.

Kim, I take it in pill form when needed. I don't know if we are "supposed" to, but I do and have not had problems...
