Yikes Linda, Glad as is well that ends well. On a hopeful note, I took my last bp med the day before surgery. Haven't had to go back on yet! Yeah! Hoping yours responds well too! Rachel

Oh Very glad to hear you are okay---what an ordeal!!!  I paid close attention to your post---I have to have a stress test on MONDAY!!!!!! I have no idea really what to expect-----  can you explain a little why they switched from walking  to a medicine one??   I actually have it scheduled in the morning--and have to work in the afternoon evening!!   SHould I bring someone with me??    I have asthma---- and all I really know is they told me to bring my rescue inhaler..... I walk a bit with my dog---but that is always start and stop---- so I am nervous about Monday. Please take good care--and thank goodness it's one test you are now thru with!! ~~~Lori

The reason I coudn't do the walking treadmill one was because I have really bad plantars faciitis in both feet, I also have asthma and my lungs usually give out befor my heart rate gets where they need it to be.  I had one of these Medicine induced stress tests about 3 years ago and didn't have any problems.  I am not sure what went wrong this time, but I hope and pray I never have to do it again.   I hope yours goes smoothly.  Like I said I had one in the past with no complications.  I am feeling much better today and will go back to work tomorrow. I am sure you will be fine, but I do wish I had brought someone with me. My brother wound up having to pick me up and he bring me home.  he also brought his father in law to help drive my car to my house because I couldn't drive for 24 hours after I had to have the angiogram. Good luck to you, I am sure your's will be fine. Linda

Wow, how scary sweetie! I'm so glad they were able to control the issue and you came out ok. I'm sorry you had to go through this, but glad you got your clearance!  I too took my last BP med the day before my WLS and even through my strokes, did not have to go back on them, so hopefully you will be as lucky!!! I know from my strokes how scary it is to go through something and think you are going to die! It really sucks!!!    I hope you get your date soon!   biggest hugs, Becky
