Good Morning Calif.....

I woke up early, but refused to get out of bed until just a bit ago. I was going to sleep until noon. Or so I thought. LOL

Not much going on. I thought about going for my run now, since its soooo cool, but my friend cyndi wants to go with me so I guess I have to wait for her so we will go this evening.

OK my coffee is done.

Morning!! Glad to see you posting!!  I am off to see my ortho doc this morning for follow up and traction.  I did a stupid Vicki move the other night and hurt myself again, so I am hoping that the traction will help it out.  Anyway, kids are arguing....ahhh a day in the life. Have a great day!

Hello Janine, Thanks for the shout out and the concern over the possible gallstones.  I didn't have much pain yesterday so apparently oatmeal and crackers and avocado are good....but umm Vegetable soup was bad, I had some pain after eating.  Nothing near Saturday and Sunday but I felt the pain lurking so to speak. I am the new POTW and what an honor it is.  I havent' been to active on the Cali board, but it's still home!  Not much going on in my world hence the no posting, but I'lm going to turn it up a notch this week after all I'm POTW so I have to represent.. Have a great day and it's almost time for your summer vacation! Ms Shell

Hello Janine and the Cali crew.  I am doing better.  I am really sore where they put in the femoral catheter.  But not too bad.  I am taking it easy today.  When they discharged me they told me rest for the next few days.  Just what I needed was another excuse to be a couch potato. LOL  I just thank the Lord that my heart is ok and I can proceed with the surgery and begin my new lease on life.  Thank you all for the encouraging words and support Linda

Good Morning Cali Crew! Hope everyone is have a good week so far.  Right now it is very overcast and ugly out and to be honest I wi**** would stay this way.  Yesterday it was over 90 in the Valley and I was not very comfortable with the heat.   Mean   I scheduled my surgery for the 17th of July and I am really excited.  However, I feel like I have a lot to do before than.  I know the time is going to fly by, I am just so excited and relieved to finally have the tool I need to be a happier and healthier me.   I am jealous of ALL you teachers that are going on a summer break.  I will be taking my CBEST this weekend and hoping to FINALLY pass the math portion.  I swear I DO NOT like math  You Suck Once I pass that I can apply for school social worker positions and be off for the summer like the rest of you.  Wakka Wakka  Well, I gotta jump in the shower, get my lil man ready for the day and it's off to see all my needy families!   Happy Tuesday Cali  Lola

Gooooood morning Janine and Cali Well I have been busy busy busy at work. Working in Infection Conrol really keeps you on your feet. LOL Life is good despite my hernia problems. I had some pain this past weekend but it didn't last quite as long as before. Thank goodness. Hopefully like the surgeon says it will fix itself.  My son has an infection on his inside of his palm. He fell down at school last month and had an open wound. Now it's infected and to me it looks like staph but then again, i am extra paranoid because of where I work. I took him in yesterday and they cultered it and I will get the results probably tomorrow. He is fine though... I am just keeping an eye out.  Well I hope everyone has a beautiful day today. My sister and I are taking my dad to Reno for Father's Day this weekend. Should be fun. Hugs and love to all, Jaime

Hey Cali, Janine-thank for the shout out.    My finger feels fine.  I plan on going bike riding tonight. I ran this morning.  Even though I felt fine, my pace was slower than usual (15:58 /per mile).  I am very concerned about that.  That is almost  a 16 min mile.  I have to beat that within the first 4 miles of the LB Half-Marathon or else the shuttle will pick me up.  I don't want that.    Everyone, take care. Thank you , Ms. Shell.  I looked on the website, and it mentioned  that you have to reach mile 4 by 8:30 am and the race starts at 7:30 am.  I know  I will do better after increasing my running time. Kim
