GOOD MORNING JANINE AND THE REST OF YOU WONDERFUL PEOPLE.

JANINE IT IS SO WONDERFUL TO SEE YOU AND THANK YOU FOR THE SHOUT OUT. I MISS THAT.

WELL THE OTHER MORNING I WROTE A NOVEL ABOUT WHAT I HAVE BEEN UP TO WITH MY BACK YARD SO I THINK I SHOULD LEAVE IT AT THAT. THE ONLY THING IS I THINK IT HAS GOTTEN OUT OF HAND AND SHOULD OPEN UP A NURSERY.

I'M SO GLAD YOUR TIME TO RELAX IT ALMOST HERE JANINE. YOU HAVE HAD A BUSY SCHOOL YEAR AND NEED SOME TIME OFF.

HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY AND JUST REMEMBER IT'S ALMOST OVER, WELL AT LEAST FOR THE SUMMER.

TAKE CARE EVERYONE, AND ENJOY THE BEAUTIFUL DAY WELL AT LEAST TILL THE SUN COMES UP AND IT GETS ALL HUMID AND HOT AND STICKY.. YUCK.

Good Morning Janine and Cali, I am most definitely ready.  We are out on the 20th.  I am looking forward to a nice summer off.  Last year was my first summer off ever b ut of course I was sick for all of it.  I can now reap the benefits though this summer.  Of course if I get my pink slip next week then all bets are off. GOod morning Janine and all the cali crew Thanks for the great shout out - I bet you are just to to to excited for the school year to be done and over and get your summer started. Yes, I am all pampered up with myhot pink toes with flowers.... Now, about kayaking...I am seriously thinking about it but I have this fear that I won't be able to do it and will get stuck out in the water....I guess its just the fear of the unknown...but I know that it would be great exercise for the upper body.  I keep thinking "what if I really like it" and I could get these bat wing arms toned up...that would be great...but then I think what if you can't do it and make an a** of yourself...hmmmm...I guess I should just jump in and try huh? Well not alot on the agenda for me today...I want to get in some exercise (and not the shopping kind) like a walk or some pool time.. Time to go have some java and read the paper. Great big hugs to everyone....

I just have to share with you, Because I dont want you to miss out I say go for it. If you can't do it there will probally be somone with you that can get you back to shore so you will just be mad at yourself. But think if you can do Wow How cool would that be.  Here is my story I am scared of high place mostly ladder someone has to get me off them if I go up. But when I was a little over 300 lbs I had the chance to go in a hot air balloon dress as the purple dino (pro clown here) well I did it, Was the best thing I ever did I will do it again some day I was scared and excited all at the same time but omgo**** was so exciting and it taught me, you have to jump in with both feet you might fail but boy if you don't what a ride.  I sure hope you go for it. I know if anyone bring one camping I am going to, ohhh maybe they rent them now I have to go look lol thanks for the idea. Big hugs, Celest

You can do it! I used to go kayaking all the time, the chances of getting yourself stuck out in the middle of the water are slim, you will know pretty quick after getting in if it is going to be too much work for your upper body, it's unlikely that you would be able to paddle yourself out, but not back, just pay attention to what your muscles are telling you and you will be fine!

Jean you have GOT to do it!!  Nothing like overcoming a fear and having fun with people you love at the same time.  I wish I was off on Friday cause I would LOVE to join you.  I haven't done it in  years and well I'd be a little nervous but WHAT an adventure it would be.... Good Morning to All!  I was supposed to have two appointments today - one with the nutritionist and one with the counsellor but..........both got changed.  Counselling is now on the 24th and the nutritionist on the 2nd!  I am off to go get my labs paperwork today so I can at least get those done.  I had been looking at lap band but after a lot more research, talking with people who have had lap and RNY, my hubby and I have decided RNY is best.  Trudging forward hoping for a date soon! I managed to get 14 loads of post-camping laundry done.  Whew!  Most of it was towels, towels and more towels and a ton of bedding.  I am off to the laundromat today with 4 big quilts and a good book!  After that, I will reward myself with a soothing pedicure.  I'm going to have bright pink toes this afternoon!!!! I managed to get in some good exercise yesterday!  I mowed not only my front lawn but did one of those "pay it forward" moves........mowed my neighbor's lawn.  He's been so busy and being "Mr. Mom" while wife is out of town.  So, enhanced my cardio while helping the neighbor.   TTFN - I'm off to shower and then ..... WhooHoo..... to the laundry-mat I go!  Mo

Mornin' Janine and Crew!

For the first time in a few days I am up and moving early this morning! I have just been SO lazy lately! I know it's because I have fallen off getting all my protein the last few days, so, today is the day I fix that for sure!

Thanks for the shout out, but you've got the wrong Shell! LOL Its Ms. Shell who is POTW this week, and a very deserving one if I do say so myself!

Craig Park is stalled, I have been going back and forth with the Parks folks trying to find an appropriate spot and they just don't have one open. I was kicking around the idea (with Chris last night) of making it an end of summer event instead? The availablity for Sept and Aug is a little more open (not by much!) and it should still be warm enough then? I will post about it if I remember by the time I get done with this (I am not so great with the remembering tasks the last few days either!)

What else, what else? I haven't been doing a very good job of keeping up with boards lately (see above statement about being lazy!) so I am a little out of the loop...

I posted my one month pics, and I have lost approx 31 pounds since surgery (57 from my highest) my scale is still acting up (even after new batteries) so I am not 100% sure how accurate that is, but I will take it! I also lost 7 inches off my waist, and I have 15 measurements that I took that I will be putting in a chart on my profile so I can track them, as soon as I figure out how to make a chart! LOL

OK, I think I am going to see if I can get the dogs up for a long walk before it gets hot.
