Thank you everyone for the warm thoughts and congrats! Today was so unreal. I know it is just an approval but it really made my day. I was giddy all day! At one point, I stopped and laughed at myself. I thought, what kind of idiot would be this excited to have their stomach removed and have to go through a process of learning how to eat again! ME! ME! ME!

I just thought it was funny that I was so excited about such a serious thing.
