New to fourm Anyone Going to Fremont Kaiser

I am also going to Fremont/Kaiser. I have my first orientation class on June 29th. Any advice out there on how to jump through Kaiser's hoops?

Melisa I am going to Fremont Kaiser and I am pre op waiting for my date. I know several fremont kaiser folks. we have a yahoo group, lots lots of info and friends. if anyone interested go here. WeightLossSurgeryFS @yahoogroups. com pre ops post ops, newbies experienced. i've made alot of friends and even have met quite a few. they help me with this terrible waiting!!!

Melisa.   I am a Freemont girl as well. Lovvvved Dr Dennen. I am 18 months out went home the following day and had no pain at all. I would do this again in a heartbeat. I am down 120 pounds. Nothing makes me sick. My advise for those of you going to Freemont is keep calling! It keeps you on the top of their list lol. Also when you have your tests let Kaiser know you will go on the list for cancelations. I had mine done faster that way. I asked for a binder which I feel helped my recovery a lot! My surgery is scheduled for Tuesday morning with Dr. Hahn at Kaiser Fremont. He has been great to deal with thus far, I hope he is equaly as good a surgeon! For those who went through the WLS at Kaiser Fremont, how was your stay in the hospital? Any helpful suggestions? Nervous but excited Dave
