Have you broke out the tape measure? When you so young with WLS, your body needs a break, and when this happens, you can be losing big time inches????? Also have you talked to your doc? He might give you something to time.
Sometimes Your body needs a break, take a break and try to stop worring,if you are doing everything as your dr has set for you, then just give it time. If you are working your tool,it will work for you.

Carla,
Try to relax a little, I know easier said than done. Have you ever lost that much weight that fast? You body needs some time to adjust. Like Luana says you are probably still losing inches. I had a month stall and thought I went through all this for nothing?!?!?! But it ended and I started losing again. Try tracking everything you are eating on something like SparkPeople.com, you may also find you are eating too little and your body is hording the calories. I know how hard it is, but you body does need to adjust now and then for all the weight loss. Keep doing everything healthy and stay off the scale for a little while!!!

Far away there in the sunshine are my highest aspirations.
I may not reach them, but I can look up and see their beauty,
believe in them, and try to follow where they lead.

thanx for the suggestion... i dont think im eating too little... i was wondering if im eating too much.. i eat healthy but they told me i should still be eating 1/4 to 1/3 cup of food... that usually doesnt do it.... i can usually eat like a cup of food at a meal..... at 31/2 months does that seem like alot?

Hi Carla!
I know it is frustrating as all he**! I did the same thing at @ 5 1/2 months out. And right at about 230. 3 1/2 weeks too. Then I lost a few lbs. the next week - then stalled again - and repeat. Now at 7 months I am at 202. So it goes in weird spirts. Other people I hear stall for a little while then bam they start dropping again. Our bodies are weird that is for sure.
Keep doing the good stuff. You will start loosing again. Think of how much better you feel every day.
I am totally new to WLS (4.29 RNY) but I am figuring something out.
We are continually reminded that the WLS is a tool, right? So it is a way for us to stay on our "diets" without severe hunger associated with traditional dieting. Of course, in proper "dieting", such as WW, the "diet" is merely what we SHOULD be eating to maintain our ideal weight.
I have been on tons of diets. My surgeon dictated three paragraphs of diets I had revealed to him. In the ones that lasted more than 3 days, I stalled about every 20-25 pounds, sometimes for weeks. In the end (the last 15 or so years) I gave up after the first or second stall, figuring it was the "diet" and how I was not doing it right. In actuality, though, it was my poor body trying to understand why it couldn't be at its cozy comfortable weight it had been for so long. I was 278 for a week and a half, and all my stalls before was at 275-280. The stall broke last week. Now I am at 275 and feeling relieved. I anticipate my next stall, which should be a doozy, to be about 255-260.
Some of us are slow losers. i am one of them. :( My 2 cents. :)
