Down 10lbs!

Scale read 155. I'm still up 15lbs from my lowest, but I feel so good. Things are fitting again, my blood pressure is excellent, I'm full of energy! I saw a friend I hadn't seen in over a year. He said, "wow, you're still looking great and keeping the weight off!" It's been a long time since I've had a wow moment!

So I'm doing another round of the 5day pouch test tomorrow. It really seems to be getting my pouch back in gear. I truly cannot eat as much. I dunno? but it seems to be working, so I'm sticking with it.

I leave for Hawaii on Friday, so I expect I'll be gaining some weight back, but I'm not afraid of it anymore. I know I can lose it! It is such a good feeling!

Way to go, Rach!!!! I know you will feel great too on your trip!! Awesome!

I lost 9 lbs when I did the 5DPT and then gained 3 back within days of eating regular food again. I was happy to have kept 6 off though. When you do it, what are some foods you eat on the different days? I need ideas. Did you supplement and add any veggies or anything? Or only the protein? I would like to do another round too but need ideas for days 3-5. Also, did you eat soft proteins on days 4 and 5 or just on day 3? I wasted so much food because I didn't carry it over for the next days because I didn't know if I was supposed to? So I had bought cottage cheese, etc and then just tossed it out because I wasn't sure if it was allowed on days 4 and 5. Does that make sense? Can you have a ground turkey patty on day 5 since it is supposed to be firm protein? LOL---ok, I'm rambling! You know what I mean though! We are leaving for Key West next week and I'd love to lose a few more pounds!

Hey girlie, I keep it really simple. I start with protien shakes, then start adding cottage cheese, then ground turkey, then shrimp. I stick mostly with protien. I don't know if this is right, but I just keep adding things into what I start on the first day, so by the last day, I'm still supplimenting with protein shakes and snacking on cottage cheese. I don't try making anything fancy, or I know I just wont do it. I'm still cooking for the kids and hubby, so that's enough. The week after, I start adding in green leafy veggies and fruit, but again, still sticking with the day 5 plan. Does that make sense?

YEAH RACH!!!!  Help a sista out...what's a girl need to do to do the pouch test.  I'm up some weight and need to get my but in gear.  Please email me when ya have some time.  At least it would be a great mind thing to see the scale go down and then that would encourage me to exercise more.  Keep up the great job and have fun in Hawaii.  Love ya, Ronda

Look at the pictures of your boy! How cute is he? Kisses for him! You can get all the info on 5daypouchtest.com. I'm really pleased with it. Not only has it got my mind back to the basics (protein first, no drinking with meals, back off the vino, etc), but my food capacity has truly diminished. When I get back from hawaii, let's make a plan to see each other. Much love, Rachel
