Good Thoughts Please

So last night I get home, pay bills and poof another paycheck gone. I am sitting here trying to relax, thinking about my interview to go into State employment next Wednesday. Well the phone ring....It is my supervisor at the registry I work for telling me I have been asked not to return to the prison?!?!?! HUH?!?!?!?! The real reason isnt understood, the DON said, I said something inappropriate about a inmates sexual orientation (anyone who knows me knows no way in hell). Problems with orientation, cant help it is the person I was orientating didnt want to touch the inmates. She also said I was going to have to be moved to a pill line, well of course I was going state, DUH!!!!! I mean just yesterday and the day before and before and before, everyone was so excited I had my interview and there were no problem so this is out of left field. So now we have to wait until Monday to find out what the HELL is going on and of course I am freaking out about not having a job, not having money and all my future plans being scrapped. So I am asking for you all the send out prayers, positive thoughts, whatever it is you do that A) I make it through the weekend sane and B) Everything works out Monday and I get my job back!!!! Thank You

Aww honey!!!  I am SO sorry for this!  You are right though...WHAT THE HELL?!?!?  Try not to let it ruin your weekend too much and I hope that you can get some answers on Monday. Love YOU!

Nikki-I am so sorry to hear about your job.  My husband was laid off on Monday and this Monday he has to apply for his unemployment.  This is a complete shock to us both because he had worked for the same company for almost 10 years.  It is also a big shock to his ego too.  I have been reassuring him that we are going to be alright and that he needs to just relax and think about what he wants to do now, something that will make him happy and not dread getting up in the morning.  Then come to find out his "replacement" was already there on Tuesday, from New York, and this was after she had told him that his job was no longer available.  It would have been better if she was straight forward with him, but over the years we have seen this happen to many other employees but you just never think it will happen to you.  I hope that you do get your job back, but if you don't just remember that it will not be the end of the world.  You will make it through the weekend, you will have everything work out in your favor and if things are ment to change for you then there is just another plan for you.  Hoping for the best,  Sharon

Good thoughts and prayers coming your way. I know this is easier said than done but.... let it go for the weekend there is nothing you can do with the exception of good thoughts and prayers the rest you do not need. You do not know what this is about and it seems they do not have the truth. We will support you all the way and take the brunt of this try to think positive that this will all CLEAR UP and your record will show how wonderful you are!
I am very sorry you have this situation. Know you have tons of us behind you all the weigh.

Nikki, that's crazy, they're taking someone elses word for what you said or did w/o interviewing you?  I'll be keeping you in prayer that this is God closing a door and getting ready to open a much better paying one.   Are you an LVN or RN?  I work for Scripps and they always have needs for them.  xo  Kim

Nikki....these are scary times financially, and I totally understand how you must be freaking out. Since there is nothing to be done until Monday, I will pray that you are able to get through the weekend ok and "sane"...YES.

Also, I pray that it is something that can easily be cleared up....
