I have been out of work for awhile now and i have been having a hard time finding a job. I just got an offer and it is $15,000 less than i am used to making. Would you take the job or hold out looking?
Times are tough right now. Jobs are hard to find. Not sure what you are used to making or what the $15,000 difference really means to you (it's all relative)
My opinion is to take it. It doesn't mean you can't continue to look for something different.

Thanks for reminding me of the other side. I have been out of work for a year, but didnt start looking till the first of the year. Can i ask what you do Darlene?
I think Sue nailed it - if you were making 80-100k a year you will probably miss the $1,250 a month less than if you were making 25-35k a year... I have to find work for summer and have very little hope of finding a job that will pay what I make in my regular job so I'll have to settle for whatever I can find - I've already decided that I can't afford to work for minimum wage as child care will make that a mute effort. I'm still looking!
If you can afford to live on what the job pays then take it till you find something else!

I got an idea......
You can go figure out where to score some sport beans and then re-sell them! I heard they had a bunch of them in San Diego! LOL

I broke into my stash last night and one little package was too much... I was bouncing off the walls and running laps around my living room... well.. ok... maybe not!
I have a limited supply left that I'll sell for 1000 bucks a pack... and there are almost 10 beans in each pack... I think if you plant them in the ground they'll grow a beanstalk up to the clouds!
