pre-op

Would love to hear what happens in pre-op. I'm worried something then might exclude me from surgery? Just another hurdle, reason to not believe this is actually really gonna happen!

Hi Fern, My pre-op with Dr. Boone included the following: I went to see Dr. Boone in his office and I took a test and we talked again about the surgery and did I have any questions. Then it was off to the hospital for: 1) doing all the hospital paperwork 2) chest Xray 3) EKG That was it. Good luck to you Sue

on the day of my surgery, i showed up @ the hospital, went through registration, went to a room with some other pre op people (varius surgeries),got an iv, they gave me happy meds and i was out like a light. they had done all the ekg, testing, etc before surgery day.

Thanks, I'm getting ready to hit the road in a few minutes, going to my pre-op doc. visit, then hospital for pre-op tests. I was curious about pre-op at hospital, guess it's just x-ray, EKG? Fern
