I THINK THIS IS GONNA REALLY HAPPEN
VSG on 04/15/13
Today is Orientationa and appointment with the Doctor day.
I have had 2 calls this week from the Dr.s office, getting information. They said after seeing the Dr. and he says it's a go, which from my info the nurse said she see's no problem, all I will have to do is get the Psych eval and any tests the Doc orders. Medicare/Carpenters requires NO pre auth and I already meet their criteria with my BMI and co-morbidities. It can be done as soon as 6 to 8 weeks or when ever I choose to set my date. My gosh I have read on hear that some people it takes hell a long to get approved.
I am so friggen stoked, yet I get this feeling like somethings going to smooth.
Well, better go and get ready it's an hour drive the the Doc's office.
CONGRATULATIONS TO YOU. ONE THING AS FAR AS YOU FEELING SOMETHINGS GOING TO SMOOTH SO YOU FEEL LIKE IT'S NOT GONNA HAPPEN. WELL MY MOTHER USE TO ALWAYS TELL ME "NEVER TROUBLE TROUBLE TILL TROUBLE TROUBLES YOU"..... IN OTHER WORDS.. DON'T LOOK FOR THE BAD... GO WITH THE FLO.. SOMETIMES THINGS DO RUN SMOOTH. I'LL BE THINKING POSITIVE THOUGHTS FOR YOU THAT EVERYTHING RUNS SMOOTH AND YOU ARE GIVEN A DATE REAL SOON. HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY AND THINK POSITIVE
Terry,
Everything went very smooth for me. I was 4 months from descision to surgery and 8 weeks of that was because my surgeon was scheduling surgeries that far in advance and that is also what worked best for my employer. From the time the Dr. submitted my paperwork to insurance approval was 4 days! No issues.
You're gonna do great. Let us know how it went at the Dr.
Sue
Keep doing what you're doing, Keep getting what you're getting.
