Hernia update ~ prayers please!!!

Most of you have been following my hernia saga. If you have, you know that my WLS surgeon is suppose to do my hernia repair, but has had me hanging for about 4 months now. I've been to the ER three times and keep getting "hernia attacks". He's supposedly not been able to communicate with my Neurologist about my blood thinner issue. The other issue I have with him is that he says NO WAY on the plastics part of the picture. Well, my hernias are massive and many and it makes NO sense to NOT take my panni at the same time. They are going to have to do an open hernia repair with lots of muscle pulling to repair me that it only makes sense to do the panni removal at the same time. My panni will probably hang halfway to my knees once the hernias are gone!! This will be my 3rd hernia repair so the skin gone can only help the recurrance issue this time! So I have a consultation appointment tomorrow at 9:30 am with UCSD hernia center. (that is where my Neurologist is too) They have a plastic surgeon as one of their hernia team who does the difficult and recurring hernia repairs, with plastics when necessary. I of course qualify for both of those!!! I am hoping they will see that my panni needs to come off at the same time as my hernia repair so hopefully they won't come back AGAIN!!! I am armed with pictures of the alien *****es and my nasty rash under the panni! I also have some things I found on the internet about doing the 2 surgeries together. I hope and pray they see what I see and that they can get insurance to cover it! So, whatever you do for a higher power, can you do it for me. Pray, cross fingers, swing chickens, light candles, whatever it is you do, I need it BIG TIME!!!! I will let you know how it goes!!! thanks for all the support!!! biggest hugs and love, Becky

YOU JUST DON'T DESERVE ALL OF THESE PROBLEMS. I CERTAINLY HOPE THEY DO THE RIGHT THING AND DO BOTH SURGERIES AT THE SAME TIME. IT WOULD BE BETTER TO HEAL ONCE THEN TWICE FOR SURE.

HANG IN THERE AND I WILL BE SAYING PRAYERS AND SENDING POSITIVE VIBES AND SAYING SOME JU JU AND LIKE VICKI I WILL EVEN SWING A CHICKEN OR 2 FOR YOU, ANYTHING TO HELP.

Ugggg...Sorry you've had to visit ER often...I know that pretty well myself. Good luck and I hope they fix you up quick. You'll be in great hands at UCSD and you'll continue with your WLS journey.
