Isopur Protein Drink
I drank them for a short while. (I liked the green apple flavor) They were roughly $3-4 bucks per bottle and for a new post-op it usually takes the whole day to finish. The only problem is that it had an after taste that I didn't care for and I would often dilute them with a lot of ice or water mixed with some crystal light.
It couldn't hurt to try a bottle. Just don't stock up on a lot of them at first until you're sure you like them.
Now if you are going to win any battle you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do. The body will always give up. It is always tired in the morning, noon, and night. But the body is never tired if the mind is not tired."

Hi
I don't have a lot of money since I'm a self pay for my surgery but I've found this great site for getting protein powder .... www.drugstore.com. If you purchase a GNC card or if you already have one it drops the prices even more. I prefer the nectar protein powders $22 for 36 1 scoup portions -> each has 23 grams protein no carbs or fat, about 92 cal and the stuff mixes easily and taste good. I like the fuzzy navel and the roadside lemonade, shipping is free and it takes about 1 wk to get here, ships UPS. www.A1nutrition.com has more flavour but they tend to end up on back order. I find with isopure I have to add things to it to make it takes okay.

Hi Fern,
I tried them too, but it was just too much for me to get down. And, like Monica, I didn't like the taste either (my okay one was the blue one). I went for Muscle Milk Light in Choc. Mint and then switched to Starbucks Skinny Vanilla Lattes - decaf, which I still drink at least one of every day. They are so good and the milk protein is good for us.
