Good Monday Morning California!!!
Another type by for me this morning, I have another interview this morning and I need to get into the shower and find something to wear. I am going to make a valiant attempt to not look like a ragamuffin....all my clothes are already too big and I can't afford to get new ones yet!
I had a smallish wow this weekend, saw one of my girlfriends who hasn't seen me since two days after surgery and she was amazed. She says she can already see a difference, especially in my face. I don't really see it yet, so it was kind of nice to hear. =)
Anyhow...I need to get moving!
I hope everyone has a great day, don't let the Mondays catch ya!

Good Monday Morning California!
My weekend was full of running around. I had a second date on Friday night with a very nice guy who I like a lot. :) Saturday was coffee in Long Beach and then I had a ton of chores and errands to do. THen I had an impromptu third date. It's been a long time since I've met someone who makes it to the third date. :)
Sunday I woke up turned on my cell phone and had 13 voicemail messages....all of them from my mom. She wanted to make sure I was at lunch because my brother was in town. Well it was too last-minute for me. I was already having lunch with Denise to celebrate her upcoming surgery this week. It was a beautiful time, she is surrounded with lots of love and support and I can't wait to see what the future holds for her.
Afterwards I went to my mom's house to visit with my brother for a while. It was the first time I'd seen him since surgery. He was amazed, we sat and talked for a long time about health & fitness. He was really inspired by my new running habit. :)
When I got home last night I had a little WOW moment. I took a shower and when I came out of the bathroom I realized that my blinds were still open. So I went to close them while hlding a towel around me and I realized I was using one of the smaller regular size bath towels...it went all the way around me with some room to spare!
I wrapped the towel around me and tucked in it, it fit and I was completely covered, I've NEVER done that before! (Sorry, I didn't take a picture.)
Well, back to work....make it a great day!!
