Congrats on your surgery date - wow, just a few days now.  Best I can say is follow your drs orders to the T - especially in the beginning.  Be sure get up and walk walk walk in the hospital and sip sip sip on tha****er.  Then, just be sure to hold on for a great ride. Best wishes to you and good luck in your journey

Woo hoo, you are on your way to the best and wildest ride of your life!!! I'm so excited for you!    I would say the best advice that I could give, that I didn't know preop, is that you don't get that full feeling for a month or so. At first your nerves are cut and you have no feelings. So follow your rules carefully and don't push the envelope! And don't freak out that soups and such seem to go right through you like I did!!! lol Measure and weigh from the beginning, it's my one regret!!!  May God bless your journey!  big hugs, Becky
