kaiser lap band

Hello Everybody!   Has anybody gone through Kaiser for there lap band?  I live in northern california

Don't quote me on this because my surgery was awhile ago...but I don't believe kaiser offers the lapband at all. Shari

I'm not sure about Northern Cali, but I believe Southern Cali now does Lap-Bands at Harbor City in the Los Angeles area.

Kaiser South San Franciso, Kaiser Richmond and Kaiser fremont offer both rny and lap band.  I had mine done in South San Francisco and wish I had it done years ago.  They are very supportive, lots of classes without judgement, and all the staff are great!!~Ann~

I recently had my surgery at Kaiser Richmond and they definitely offer the lap band.  Kaiser Richmond is one of three Bariatric centers of excellence in Northern Cali and they have an awesome program.

 

 

 

 

Actually there are more than three in Northern California, maybe you meant the Bay Area. I'm from Pinole onto Suisun/Vacaville, now outside Marysville.  Northern Cali goes to the Oregon border. Chico's Enloe Hospital Dr. Ludwig/Dr. Shichuck are COE Physcians in a COE Facility. Just call your Kaiser Call Center (I use to work at Kaiser Vallejo call center) they should, depending on your CS Rep, should be able to get you that info or at least where to call.

Of course there are more than Three Kaiser Hospitals in California. Out of every hospital that performs Bariatric surgeries in California; Kaiser Richmond is one out of three hospitals that was awarded the center of excellence for their Bariatric Dept.
