OT - Zoom whitening... or other...

Robert Daddio, D.D.S in Palm Desert. What is really a trip about going to him that the dentist who screwed up my bite sent me to an oral surgeon to have a tooth pulled that did not need pulling and this oral surgeon recommended Daddio. Then I was up in the SF bay area and had a filling fall out and a friend SIL worked for a dentist that I went to. I asked him if he knew any dentist down here and wella....he said Dr. Daddio! I thought well 2 different dentists saying the same referral....it was a good omen!   

Hi Jillie, My dentist warned me a year ago about those white strips and how bad they are on your teeth. He and a group of dentists are trying to get them pulled off the market but it's almost impossible. He said they dissolve the protective enamel on your teeth and people don't realize the damage until they start having to pay major dental costs for fillings and root canals! I am so glad I only used them for a few weeks before I saw him.  Susan

Hey Groovy Daddy....wassup? Well I contemplated the Zoom whitening and my dentist suggested to use the teeth molds with the Dr prescribed bleaaching for waaaaay less than Zoom with the same results. Zoom is around $500 and my Dentist made me trays and gave me the bleach for $100. (usually $150 but my dentist likes me). He said it does the same thing. I am on my 2nd week and the teeth are looking great. I do however need to stay off the coffee and soda but its just so haaaard.

My nephew had the Zoom and his teeth are super white!!!

I used the trays every night for a two weeks for 30 minutes, then a follow up once a month. Its much better then the pain af zoom. And it don't taste all  that bad.

Talk to your doc about it, They should make a mold of your teeth that fit nice and stay put for the time they are on. I just sit here and watch TV.

Hey Gene, My daughter had her teeth whitened with the Zoom about 6 months ago. She never said there was pain...just a bit of sensations when they did it. If it hurt...she would have said so!!!! Her teeth look great! She had just gotten off her braces and her teeth were quite discolored, and the zoom made them really white. Our dentist does it in her office here in Riverside and she charges $199.00!!!!! It is a great deal! There was no trays, no fuss, no mess! So I don't know if maybe there is pain with different people, but no pian on our end and I totally reccomend it! I am actually going to get mine done here soon. Just remember to use a straw for tea, coffee and dark drinks...it will help keep them as white as possible. Good Luck!
