Pacific Bariatric Patients, where did you stay??

Okay, I just got my date. Where is a good place to stay overnight, and how much did it cost?? Thanks!

We stayed at the Super 8 Motel. The original cost was like 69.00, but we got a racer discount because hubby belongs to NHRA.

I stayed at the Sommerset Suites.  Here's the link.  http://hotelsandiego.us/hotel.php/134378-sommerset-suites-ho tel-san-diego-california/  I liked it because it was easy to WALK to the hospital and Pacific Bariatrics.  They stored my luggage, they gave me a blender for my shakes, and there was a recliner for me to use.  I also loved the area around the hotel for walking!!  They give a discount for PacBar patients.  My surgery was over three years ago, so I don't remember how much it was. I wanted to stay at the Sommerset Suites, but hubby wouldn't go for it (he's cheap), but the discounted rate for Pac-Bar patients is $89.00 per night. Not bad! =)

I was alone down there and so it was worth it to me.  I know Gus stayed there too, before his surgery, because I was there the first night with him and Anna.  I figure with the gas prices now and the parking, it is worth the extra money each night to be so close to everything and be able to walk.  The hotel also picked me and all my flowers up at the hospital and took me to the hotel!! I went down there with my mom, and we stayed at the Sommerset Suites. The rooms are nice, they're really accommodating, just a short walk over to Scripps. Congrats on getting your date, by the way!
