SUGAR FREE TREATS!?!
Ok ya'll, I know that we are here and doing this to lose weight. But sometimes a girl just needs something a little sweet. So while in a sweet treat stupor at the supermarket I came across these sugar free cookies and what to know what all of you experienced WLS chatters have to say about them.
Here is the website for the company with all of the types they sell:

I am anxious to hear what everyone has to say!

Lisa, Lisa, Lisa! You problably will NOT like what I have to say, and I may get flamed by others, but, I feel I need to say something. You are NOT even a month out from surgery. WHAT ARE YOU THINKING, GIRL??? You need to form good eating habits NOW. It only gets harder the further out you are. Check out the nutritional value of these cookies. Here's the scoop for the chocolate chip cookies --- http://www.amazon.com/Murray-Cookies-Chocolate-5-5-Ounce-Pac kages/dp/B000AY9U98#nutrition-facts They may not have SUGAR but they do have sugar alcohols. They also are very high in carbs and also saturated fats. I know that many of us still make sure what we eat has more grams of protein than carbs. Please, please, please find something else to curb your sweet tooth like sugarfree popsicles!! Stay away from cookies, etc. now.
OK everyone - go ahead and flame.

Hello,
I have to agree with Judy Anne...habits are hard ones to break and we need to change them and constantly work on them. I agree with not snacking and starting with the sugar free stuff....As soon as you know it...the habits and the ability to eat a little more will start and that day will come quick.....stop now while your ahead....even IF you think you can control it now....it will change one day soon
Thanks you guys for the reality check. You are so right. The cravings are strong, but the need for a new lifestyle and new body are greater, especially when I have great friends like all of you *****mind me of whats really important! THANK YOU ALL FOR THE GREAT SUPPORT!
Going to eat a sugar free popscicle now!
Lisa
Lisa, you are only a month out. You know I am 3.5 years out and I get that sweet tooth gnawing at me sometimes. Well, guess what make a protein drink that is chocolate. I am not sure what protein that you are using but I can tell you that it helps me. I did not even try something like that for a long long time.
You need to start making lifestyle changes NOW! You need to do the entire thing eatting as well as exercise.
I hope that you see what you need to do and what you should stay away from. Judy is so right and I am sure anyone else who posted regarding this. Just don't stay away from the junk.
Liz
Hi Liz! I agree with the protein shakes. I LOVE chocolate and my protein shakes in the past 3+ years are what have saved me. Are you sure your last sentence is what you wanted to write?? "Just don't stay away from the junk." I think you might have made a slight mistake on the verb!!! LOL.
