I've given up on Dr. Quillici's office

Well all my dear friends. Dr. Q's office staff has worn me out. I received my letter of denial. The denial stated I didn't meet the criteria of 2 co morbidities. I called Julie to get direction asking if I should come back and see Dr. Q so that both of my medical problems could be written and sent again. You see when they wrote the letter of necessity they didn't add both medical problems. Diabetes and CHF. (A story I shared with you all on this site and also on avbariatrics.com last month) Julie pretty much told me NO. I am an RN and am somewhat familiar with the routine regarding insurance companies. I do not feel I had help nor an advocate to present my case through Dr. Quillici's office. Thank you all for listening, Lindy

Lindy, Contact the insurance company and talk to someone in med mgt there.  I also recommend that you get your PCP to also write you a letter of medical necessisty.  You can also do your appeal on your own, Liz
