I wanted to wait until later in the day to post this, because quite frankly, I wasn't feeling much thankful for ANYTHING earlier today.  Just a bad day of crying jags, and feeling sorry for myself....blah blah blah. BUT~ that has passed.  So, here we go- what are you thankful for on this Memorial Day?? mine: 1. A wonderful husband that loves me from afar and knows just what to say to help me feel better. 2. My kids- yes, AGAIN, they drive me nuts~ but, I am ever so thankful that I even HAVE them.  We watched old home movies today and it just made me so happy to see them again and to remember all the good times that we have all had as a family together.  Although, it does sadden me that they have grown so much!  Where does that time go??? 3.  My Lynnie- she rarely misses a day in contacting me to see how I am doing, even when she is going through her own "stuff" and I JUST LOVE HER!!  You hear me Lynn?!?!?  You are the BESTEST! You have been the one constant throughout my life while Mike is gone that always gets in touch with me and puts a smile on my face when I am down in the dumps. 4. My in-laws~ I was able to get some much needed time to myself with the help of my mother and sister in law taking the kids on Saturday. 5. I booked a 5 day cruise for Mike and I to go on in December and we are both so looking forward to that time together!  I am SO excited to see the ship all done up for Xmas too!!  And bonus~ it leaves out of San Diego, so the grandparents get time with the kiddos and my sis and BIL get time with our puppies!  lol  win-win all around! 6. Thankful for all that our military (past and present) have done/do for us to continue to live in such a great country!  *insert flag waving here* Okay, share or not- totally up to you.  But remember that there is ALWAYS someone going through a rougher patch then you. OH! I forgot to mention my Secret Pal....I have a REALLY good idea who you are  (tee hee), and even if you aren't who I think you are~ I am so glad that you had my name chosen and I appreciate all that you have done for me!!  Looking forward to the Big Reveal!! Love to all!

Vicki, I know having Mike away is hard on you and the kidlets. Sending all of you (((((big hugs)))). 1. I am thankful for God. Without His guidance, I don't know where I would be. 2. Our military and their families, for their sacrifices (past, present & future). Without them, we wouldn't be able to enjoy the freedom that we have. Freedom isn't free, it comes at a great price. If you can't stand behind our military, please feel free to stand in front of them. 3. My family, who have been so supportive of me having this surgery. 4. Friends at church who are already telling me that they see a difference with my weightloss. 5. and last but not least, my friends here on OH. Without you guys and gals I would be lost. You have given me so much support. I really appreciate every single one of you. Who you are, makes a difference. Love & hugs...

I am totally thankful for my hubby Joe.  That man loves me no matter what.  I could be as big as a house and he'd still love me.  I'm doing this for Me!  So I can start to live!  I'm thankful also for all SEVEN of our kids ( 5 boys, 2 girls) the support of most of my friends and the ability to ignore the negative nellies!   Everyone have a WONDERFUL WACKY TUESDAY!
