Good Morning California

Well good morning LuLu and the Cali Crew!!!

I have been MIA. I was not feeling too good from that bite thing on my arm. It hurt a lot too. I have one more day after today on the predisone and I think a few more days of antibiotics. There is still a great deal of swelling however, it has gone down enough to where I noticed that there a multiple bite marks that at showing up on my arm. YIKES! There is still an area where its hot to the touch, but not like it was. As Jeff said it was not as angry looking as the day before. Thank God!

Anywho spent the day with Ava yesterday...like I so hate that. Makes it hard to get on the computer because I give her my undivided attention. Like I so hate that.

I took her to ToysRUs to buy her some blocks and things...oh yeah...found her some really cute dresses too! But what struck me was the way she was looking around...OMG she was like this is the best place I have ever seen! I was having a ball with her. So with more blocks than I am sure she will ever need....and great summer dresses.....Ava and I went over to Macy's so grandma could get a pair of jeans to wear!

I read you post Jean about having to go and get new jeans. Well I had a closet full of jeans still....all small jeans that I thought...will be fine.....NOPE. I did not have one pair of jeans in my closet that I could hold up on my waist or butt! Now here is the shocker and major milestone.....Jeff and I wear the same size of Lucky Jeans.....30x32!!!! Now that is a MAJOR MILESTONE for me and after I got home last night.....I was trying hs pants on....it was the best WOW moment I have ever had!!! This is the DKNY pair I bought also:

In all my days and dreams did I ever think I could get down this far. If any of you don't think that at nearly 6 years out or whatever amount of years you are out from surgery that your pouch does not work, or that the 5DPT will not work for you....think again....I am living proof of it along with a lot of us who have gone on the 5dPT and got ourselves back to basics. Like I said....it works when you work kids!!

I am hoping to pull my motorcylce out today. It is nice out here in the desert albiet a bit windy at least it is sunny!!! I need a ME day...and I hoping to get out before I get a phone call....mom????? LOL

Thanks Steve...I know you know how it feels to hit that kind of a milestone....you know the smallest jeans I ever wore were 34's in highschool....to think I could hit a 30.....dang!!! When I had wls....I wore a 54-56 inch belt.....our tool really works!!!!
