Weigh to go!!! Let me tell you, I think I was more excited about hitting onderland than I was when I hit goal. LOL not really, but pretty darn close.

Hey Sue! I feel the same way, I've been looking forward to onderland more than hitting goal! Even though I am technically still obese, I don't feel "FAT" anymore! I think because I've always felt that people aren't really that big if they don't even weigh more than 200 lbs! Thank you so much for your kind words!

De Anna that is really great!! Glad your adjusting to the new area (I didn't want to scare you before...just let you know about what you might face). I remember as I was dropping the weight, I would get on the scale and would just be shaking my head in disbelief everytime. Get really for when you go back to visit friends and family in Mo Town...To not have them recognize you. You look very professional in the picture. I looked at your profile and saw the picture when you were at your largest...WOW!! Doesn't it almost seem like a dream?? Hang on for the ride. Brian
Hey Brian! It's good to hear from you! You didn't scare me before, no worries! Believe me, that first week or so was pretty overwhelming! But now I'm very glad that I made the move, and you are right, it's pretty chilly here! Brrr! I really need to invest in some lightweight but warm jackets! The only coat that I have right now is the one that I had to break down and buy in December (just days before I had surgery); it wouldn't quite zip up then. Now it's way too big, I really need a new one!
I cannot wait to go back to Motown and see my old coworkers! But I'm going to wait a while, and go to our big fundraiser we have every year (Edible Extravaganza, have you ever gone?) in September. It would be AWESOME if people didn't recognize me! It really does seem like a dream!
Your comment about looking at my old picture gave me the idea to put together a before and after combo pic; I just put it on my blog. I have to admit, I love looking at it! I think the thing that I love the most is the little hollow in my neck that I absolutely did NOT have before! Thanks for everything, you are always so encouraging!

Laura A. 5'3" BW299/CW135 Hey Laura! It's so good to hear from you! We definitely do have to have a get together in Monterey! I've just got to get the details figured out. We could have something at my apartment, or at a park. I think people would probably want to do something at a restaurant with an ocean view, but with being about 3 hours away, you know everyone would not make it there on time! Maybe we could have something that starts at my apartment, then we caravan to a cool restaurant? Give me a couple weeks to get the last of the boxes unpacked, and I will plan something!
I miss you guys so much! If you have a get-together, I will be there!

You look mahvalous! And you don't look a day over 30... unlike myself, who is inching toward the senior discount SOON! I'm so proud of you! Onederland is a huge accomplishment. I can still hear you complaining that you weren't losing enough....but here you are. Monterey would be a great place for a get-together.
