A Stormy TGIF!!!

Good Morning Cali and a very Happy TGIF!!!

Now was that a storm yesterday or what???      

Those poor people who were caught up in that tornado in Moreno Valley.....YIKES!!!!!!    that is not supposed to happen here! We do not live in the midwest Mother Nature!!!!

The weather report says we are in for some more lively weather today too....now what happened that just less than a week ago we hit 114 here in the desert and today we are going to be lucky to hit 72!!! I had find a pair of jeans that remotely fit me a I have not worn jeans for a while and they are quite loose now!!!  Oh well things could be worse!

Well I have had not really read the boards. I came home and looked a bit, but really did not feel well. I slept the night, and this morning the redness has spread a bit, but not too bad....it is really a huge areaof my upper arm that is effected. I actually would not go to work today, but I am worried that my students greenward pottery is ruined and will be furthered ruin from the rain they got from yesterday evening and what is expected today...grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr the one time I thought the clouds would just be clouds!

 

So what is on your agenda for this 3 day holiday weekend? We wanna hear!!!

And remember what is the real meaning of Memorial Day and honor those who fought and served bravely for all of us so we can continue to have our freedom!!!

Good morning Janine and Cali! The weather on the central coast is bizarre too! we've had quite a bit of wind and a high surf advisory is in effect. 20% chance of rain for the weekend which kinda sucks cuz it's Strawberry Festival weekend which is always fun. Janine - you might want to have that arm looked at later today or tomorrow if the redness continues to spread. that is NOT a good sign! Good TGI Friday Morning Janine and Crew! Isn't the weather a trip? Monday it was still 100 degrees here in San Bernadino and yesterday low 60's and thunderstorms! Gotta love SoCal in the springtime! LOL  Speaking of thunderstorms, man, I got home at a couple minutes after 5 yesterday and it was JUST starting to rain. Took the dogs out into the backyard to do their business with my coat over my head when ZAP!!!!! A lightning bolt hit the parking lot of the dorms across the wash from us.... YIKES! The dogs freaked out and the thunderclap was LOUD! Well, we hustled our skinny butts back into the house and the skies opened up. It POURED rain from about 10 after 5 until 5:45 with lightning and thunder every couple of minutes, hail.... just an awesome storm! D drove in the driveway just as it was letting up. Said his drive home was scary. Even though MOST everyone on the fwy was going about 15 - 20 mph since you couldn't see with the pouring rain but, of course, there was the occasional driver (cell phone plastered to their ear natch) in their "safe" SUV's weaving in and out of traffic trying to do their usual 80. Stupid people! The news is saying we could get more of this storm today too. Well, let's hope the weekend isn't a total washout! On the other hand ya can't do anything about Mother Nature (typical woman! ROFL) so we will just deal with it, right? The weight lost tally for this past WWW was a nice, solid -43.9 pounds. Good job crew! We have a BBQ for the family on Sunday afternoon and I bought tickets to see the Indiana Jones movie for Monday morning. Other then that we will be playing it by ear. If the weather is decent we will spend time in the garden...  Wishing everyone a FABulous Friday and a wicked Memorial Day weekend! (((((BigBearHugz)))))

Good Morning,  It is ME!!!!  I can't believe I have a minute to send a note off.  Wild weather is an understatement.  I was DRIVING in it and doing about 35 on the freeway trying to see to get home.  I didn't even know it was raining till I walked out of work.....holy cow, what a surprise. Work is unbelievable, it's a long story, but I will make it through and get things done better.  I am one that does not like to make any mistakes and I am doing nothing but, and I am beating myself up about it.  But then, the one manager has really set me up to fail.  She has the problem, she doesn't know how stubborn I am and soon she will be the one looking like she has failed.     Ok, off to work I go, I AM SO HAPPY for the 3 days. Morning,  It seems that winds have died down around here so far for today...which is a good thing because I have to drive up to Fresno.  Although, it looks like it may rain.  What the heck is going on around here????  Just a few days ago it was triple digits and now this.  Not to mention that my allergies are going even more haywire with all the stuff being blown around. My sis and bro in law were going to go up to Big Bear this weekend to go camping, but when they heard the weather report, they decided against it.  The only thing that I have planned for the weekend so far, is to try to get some one on one time with my oldest for a few hours tomorrow and then depending on the weather~ maybe take the kids to the base pool.  I do know that I want to get out some of our old videos and watch them this weekend too.  Feeling nostalgic and wondering just how many times *I* am actually in any of them.  I was always the one behind the camera, because I hated how I looked.  Okay, enough rambling~ and as usual, the kids are doing their thing.  I think I need to call Nanny 911. Mornin' folks!

That weather yesterday was crazy for sure! It hailed so hard about 10 minutes from my house that kids were out playing in it like snow, looked like snow too! CRAZY!

Anyhow, nothing exciting to report for me today, going on a mini interview about a part time job this morning, and I am going to pick up our Wii Fit today! I also have my annual eye exam this evening, thats the height of my excitement, Wii Fit and an eye exam! LOL
