Welcome to CA boards. You are going to find some great, and wonderful people here.

Here is my two cent............for whats its worth.

Have you TALKED to your doc??? Because, I pretty sure there is no docs here that can help you and answer the question.  If you are in pain, CALL your doc.

Hi- I'm sorry you're hurting, and I'm glad you came here for support.  I would call your doctor and tell them your symptoms, I didn't have those, but I've learned that everyone heals differently.  Wecome to the board, by the way!

Talk to your doctor.  If the pain is near your belly button (and you had RNY) it is because that is where they put the camera.  The pain should be getting better each day...If not...go ye to a doc.  Brian

Hi! the muscles all around my belly button area hurt the  most. And it took me a long time to find out what my tummy liked drink wise. I found that if a poured a huge glass of ice water with a pack of splenda and liquid 'punch' flavored protein (from gnc), I could sip that down slowly.  Remeber, no gulping. Sip sip sip.  The inside of your pouch is swollen and tender right now. Things will get better. But its best to NEVER ignore pain. Call your surgeon. Hang in there!
