Approved!!!!!

Hi everybody. I have been on this website for about 2 months. I just found out yesterday that I was approved for RNY! It only took 3 days!!!! I am beyond  excited! I am just waiting to be scheduled. I am so ready to begin this journey!! Whoo Hoo!!!!

Congratulations!  Dr. LePorte is an excellent surgeon too. 

Congratulations.  That was fast.  Do you have to do anything else before they schedule your surgery?  We will probably be done around the same time.  I am happy for you.   Linda

I spoke with Ann today and she said there's nothing else I have to do and I should be hearing from the schedule lady in 10 working days. I'm hoping to have the surgery in July or August!

My cardiac stress test is on June 9th, once I get my cardiac clearance, Anne said that the surgery scheduler can take up to 10 days to schedule my surgery.  She said they are scheduling into the end of June and July.  I am shooting for the end of June, but I guess we will see.  Best of luck to you Linda
