Howdy all, How did we do on day 3?  It got a bit easier and I have never enjoyed tuna so much! I have a small dilema tomorrow.  One of my oldest and bestest friends and I are going out to dinner tomorrow night for her birthday.  We have been doing this for years and it has become a tradition, same restaurant and all.  It is a mexican restaurant and their menu is fairly healthy.  There is always my old standby bean & cheese burrito but its gonna be the homemade chips and salsa that are bound to do me in. LOL....there is always a crisis! Ok, your turn, fess up XOXOXO Sheryl

Hi Sheryl and everyone else! I think those homemade chips and salsa would do me in - that's the hardest thing about going out to Mexican food - by the time my food arrives I've already stuffed myself with chips and salsa! Good luck with that - I know you can succeed! Today went pretty good - I made the turkey bacon oven omlette from the 5dpt site and several pieces throughout the day - it was pretty good. I did notice the pouch full feeling at lunch - at first I though I was getting sick, then remembered that this was the feeling I was supposed to get when my pouch was full... I guess I had forgotten! I work hard on not drinking for an hour after eating. I guess I'd call it a good day. I had a few bites of an apple then threw it away thinking I wasn't supposed to eat it... I guess I over-reacted a bit! Looking forward to tomorrow! I haven't really weighed to see if I've lost anything - since I started running I've noticed that I don't loose weight very easily so I don't bother weighing - maybe once a month? My focus with this exercise is to get back on track and remember what it feels like to feel full. Honestly there's a fresh bag of BBQ Soy Crisps in my cupboard that are calling my name... maybe I'll take them on my camping trip to Carpenteria this weekend for a snack. C h e e r s, gene

ughhhhh... I was fine all day.. scrambled eggs for breakfast... fish for lunch... then dinner. :-( I was at a dinner meeting and ordered salmon. It was sooooo yummy. But it came with a sweet glaze on it, stir fry veggies and rice. I ate al the vegs with all that glaze and a couple of forkfulls of rice. Yikes! And not even near enough salmon. *sigh*  Oh well.. today is another day... :-)

Hello Da'link, Did almost perfect till I threw a handful of fishy crackers in my mouth. I was getting ready to teach my little one's and just could stand my keto breath. Add to that the thick feeling of a cough and cold.  Fish crackersRachel Hugs not carbs, Rachel P.S. At mexican, I usually get the chicken or shrimp fajitas. Veggies and lots of protien...skip the tortilla. To avoid chips, I just think about how good the shrimp is going to taste!
