OT To all Secret Pals

I do not know how many of you saw the post that I was ending the Secret Pal Thingie come 6-1-08. I have had way too many complaints about people being forgotten and those who have not lived up to their committment of just checking in with people.

I said to begin with that it was not about gifts or whatever..okay they are nice, but the main thing was to establish a relationship with someone in secret and being their support. I guess that was too hard for some of you. I understand cir****tances got in the way, but not to say anything and act like it did not exist was just plain wrong to the people who were your draw.

So I will be revealing names on the 1st of June.

Now for those who want to do another draw because they liked having and being a SP. I will gladly put another one together no matter how many people participate. All you have to do is send my an email at [email protected] or you can email me here at OH and let me know. All I need is your name, OH name and your email address. I personally like being a SP to my pal and would love to do it again.

A huge thank you to those who were committed to their SP. I know that I can speak for them and say they were quite pleased with the attention, gifts, and most of all taking to the time show you cared!

ooooo i'm excited to know who my awsome secret pal is! She/he has been wonderful and can't wait to see who it is. I do have to say that i'm glad its going to be over in a way because I havn't had the time to really do everything I wanted to for my secret pal, and she deserves better. With moving, work and school I have been really swamped! Janine, thank you so much for putting this together, as I did find it fun :) You are a great gal and hope to keep in touch with this board from Spain when I get there.

Hey GF! I totally support your decision to end this. While I am bummed to lose the awesome person who got me...and I love to buy for my pal ( I hope they are happy with me too), I have to say there are way too many people that flaked and thats just not fair to the rest. So reveal away!!!!! Should be interesting...I for one cannot wait to find out who had my name...they are way too good to me!!!! Not sure that I will do another 6 month thing...but would do another xmas one if you do that. Thanks for all you have done with this...it was alot of work and you did a GREAT job Hot Mama!!!!

Hey Janine Wow I am excited to find out how my SP is and I hope that the person I have is surprised as well. Like the others, I want to thank you so much for all the work you put into this - its been a blast. But I think I will pass on the next 6 months....but if we do one at Christmas time - I'm in.
