great info, if weight loss wasn't so serious, it would be laughable the way insurance co's try and use our ignorance to their benefit........education is key.....thanx.....KEN

So... does this count for any 6 month diet or just the ones they want you to loose weight on?  I'm supposed to "fail" mine.  If I loose more than a certain amount, it's considered "successful" and I no longer qualify for the surgery.  I'm still waiting on the approval for a consult with the surgeon.  The people at HealthNet said it was still pending b/c I haven't finished a six month supervised diet (I only have 2 months so far).  They said they would have a decision by Friday.  If they deny me, what do I send them/tell them to get it overturned?  Thanks in advance.
