What are you thankful for?

Good Monday morning beautiful California people!! I hope that all had a wonderful weekend and we can all start the week off with a bang by remembering what we are thankful for!  Come on, you KNOW you have to have at least ONE thing!! Me: 1. I am ever so thankful for my wonderful, loving husband and all the joy that he brings me.  Even through the stress of him not being here, a phone call or IM session with him ALWAYS makes it better! 2.  My flippin' FABULOUS in-laws!  My bro and sis-in-law took all 3 of my kids this weekend so that I could get some much needed time to myself and I pampered myself BIG time on Saturday, thanks to gift certificates from said in-laws.  I am so lucky. 3. My extended family here in the valley~ we had a really nice time together yesterday celebrating my MIL's 70th bday and they have ALWAYS been so kind and accepting of me, from day one.  It should be no surprise to anyone that they are great people, considering the man that I was lucky enough to find and marry. 4. My kiddos~yes, they drive me nutso at times and yes, I sometimes don't even like them that much (I know, awful thing to say).....BUT, spending time away from them and then seeing them again is always the best because they act like it has been weeks since I saw them last and they all attacked me at once with hugs and kisses. 5. The continued love and support that I receive from not only my dear friends that I have made through this site, but from complete strangers.  This truly has been one of the best sites for support that I have ever come across. 6. Summer school! Yep, both my girls have to go and that gives me 3 extra weeks of a "little" peace around here.  tee hee.  The girls aren't happy about it, but tough cookies! Okay, that is enough for now.  Let's hear yours! Hope everyone has a great Monday!!

1)My husband, sons and DIL they are the best and I love them so very much. I cant Wait for Wednesday to get here but will be so sad on Monday when our time comes to an end when our visit will come to and end.  2) Going to Colorado Wednesday morning and getting away from the heat we have had the last few days.

3)Seeing friends and family we haven't seen in over a year. Even if it is for a semi sad reason.

4)Having gotten to spend the weekend with our Godson Jeffrey. He is so big now and a real Joy to be around. Even if Nini got rug burns from crawling around the floor making sure her house was baby proof.

5) The support from OH and members of OH, my support group and my Dr.'s along the way who have supported my choice to use this tool to better my life.

Have a great week all be safe and remember the true meaning of Memorial day is not about fun and sun, but true heros and remembering what they have all done for us and others.

Hello love, 1) I'm thankful for feeling a bit more in control 2) My new job starting in september 2) my oldest son who has decided to shoot for all A's this semester (just to show the teacher who has been giving him a hard time all year 3)my youngest son who is on a field trip to Aquarium of the pacific today with his 1st grade glass. He rattled of the name of a few exotic fish they have there...I didn't even know those fish existed -- he loves sea life! 4)My awesome husband...even if he gave me a hicky on Saturday night and I had to wear a high collard shirt to church on the hottest day of the year! What are we, twelve? Hope you all have stuff to be happy about! If not, I always say, "keep your expectation low and you'll often be pleasantly surprised!" See ya, Rachel

Bad news, chica.. We have daughters..we wil never be free!! At least thats true for me.. she is SUCH a mama's girl!  But I am grateful for her nontheless.. she is a delightful young woman and if she would just quit asking me for things she needs for prom, hey life would be peachy!! :-) XOXO
